Hobbs “faceguarding”I’d argue the Pats didn’t get the breaks more often than they did, though it frequently went both ways in dramatic fashion.
Tuck play for obvious reasons comes to mind and Dee Ford lining up offsides since we playing the Chiefs are 2 that immediately come to mind.I’d argue the Pats didn’t get the breaks more often than they did, though it frequently went both ways in dramatic fashion.
To be fair though they looked like crap last year didn't have a WR who could catch most of the season had to play at Buffalo and at Baltimore in the playoffs and still won it.Chiefs look pretty well rounded still but certainly not a juggernaut. Another team can knock them off if they get their own stuff together. Dolphins, Texans, Bengals come to mind.
They looked better tonightTo be fair though they looked like crap last year didn't have a WR who could catch most of the season had to play at Buffalo and at Baltimore in the playoffs and still won it.
They just have a knack of winning these one score games over and over, law of averages says they won't win it this year but they're just going to be a team who's going to win 12+ games and be in the AFCCG basically every year when Mahomes/Reid and together.
Yeah last year they had very 2018 Patriots feel where there was more WTF was that games than impressive wins over the course of the regular season but in the end played a few good games in January and squeezed out an unlikely championship. They looked better tonight

Good point about injuries. Seemed like Pats had every other season devastated by injuries.Yeah we always seemed to get key injuries that impacted our sb runs whereas the chiefs just magically stay healthy.
Kelce is like Cal Ripken of NFL tight ends.
Let's jinx Kelce..Good point about injuries. Seemed like Pats had every other season devastated by injuries.
He looked slow tonightLet's jinx Kelce..
Kelce is so strong. Kelce never gets injured. Chiefs are so lucky. Wish every team had a Kelce .
Now please repeat with your version so that we can collectively see if we can jinx them. 1 year of Kelce being injured is what it might take for the chiefs dynasty to get into the 10 year hiatus that pats got from 2004 to 2014.
You had me until ‘dolphins’Chiefs look pretty well rounded still but certainly not a juggernaut. Another team can knock them off if they get their own stuff together. Dolphins, Texans, Bengals come to mind.
Like with Brady you're never out of it with Mahomes. The Chiefs looked kinda sloppy, but they will only get better as the season plays out.To be fair though they looked like crap last year didn't have a WR who could catch most of the season had to play at Buffalo and at Baltimore in the playoffs and still won it.
