I think the key with all of them, other than Purdy, is they were mostly 1-year wonders. That's always possible in any given year for a team with a below average QB. Consistently being in playoff contention is a different story.Going by conference championship games the last 6-7 seasons I’ve found these average-below average QBs who made it to the final four.
1. Nick Foles
2. Blake Bortles
3. Case Keenum
4. Ryan Tannehill
5. Brock Purdy
6. Jimmy G
Purdy is surrounded by the best offensive talent overall in the NFL. Think that's harder to duplicate than getting a good QB.
