Honestly the #1 pick this year has much less value than other years because there are no obvious picks worth the #1 and it will not fetch a lot in a trade

People say that, but forget the 49ers gave up three first round picks just for the right to draft the third best QB in the 2020 draft without even knowing who he was and drafted a guy who was considered a second round pick at the time thry made the trade.

Every year, teams talk themselves into believing QB prospects are much better than they ever should. It isn’t like the year where Kenny Pickett was the best choice. Both Sanders and Ward are considered top 3 picks now. They will be considered studs by April.
