I gotta say, though, even as I’m defending the guys picked, why are they just sitting back and letting better players slide?

The Pats don’t need a bunch of 4th, 5th, rounders.

They don’t need “Bodies”. They need some risky high-potential guys.

They’ve got Maye and Polk

I’d be a lot more jazzed with Maye, Mitchell, and Paul, even knowing that Mitchell might explode and Paul might never develop.

They just sat there at 60-whatever and let the top IOLs and the four best remaining tackles go…

Well, N’Keal can’t play at all, so better than him says nothing at all. I’m guessing he’ll be good, but he does not appear to be a legit X receiver that will scare any team when he lines up on the outside. Many or most teams will defend him straight up.

He will not scare anyone.
He will be fine.
He will be a Patriots fan's binky in 2 years.
Teams will not dictate their coverage around him.

Chiefs just took our guy, potentially. Kingsley Suamataia. Ugh. I would have really liked him at #68 or a small trade up.

I hope we have a backup option that we are comfortable taking.

This draft is falling almost too perfectly for the defending superbowl champs.

It didn't help that the Bills conspired to make them better as well with giving them the fastest WR in the draft!

17 out of 25 WRs who ran faster than a 4.5 were 6’1” or greater? That seems unlikely to me but I’ll take your word for it til I can check myself

Great senior bowl but might just be in that right tackle conversation. Definitely just a maybe at LT but he had a great senior bowl week

I'm sure they would have traded up if they really liked Sumaitaia. I read he had some off field issues somewhere I think. Jones, Amedgadjie are there.

Pats got kind of worked when it comes to understanding Tackle board. Nothing left worth drafting. Better hope Chucks can play LT.

There's some guys who might be good the following season because they need to sit and get stronger.

Frank Crum is an underrated tackle left on the board who might be able to start this season.

I miss those days. Half of these “fans” sitting in these Team sections act as if they never been to a pro game much less seen a college game and got picked through some lottery set up by their local grocery store !!!
