Game Day Thread 2023 WEEK 4 OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: NE @ DAL

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Mac is officially Done and so is
. BB misery loves company.

Would we break any record for scoring 20 points week 1 and managing to score less points every week from there through 4 games?

Schuster not even on field on 3rd downs…but we let jacoby walk…

Plenty of changes needed at the team level, I’d leave only HC alone…for now
Problem is HC is an awful talent evaluator and team builder

You can't make good QBs and WRs materialize out of thin air.

We don't have them.

Mac has been a bust. And unless you draft those WRs, you're not going to find them. You can sign the best WRs in FA every year but the Algholors, Bournes, Jonnu Smith, Smith-Schusters aren't going to cut it. We need a real QB and WRs. Then we'll be "modern" NFL

Belichick has had plenty of opportunities to acquire talent. He has refused to. Even when he goes on a spending spree, he rather overspend for mid tier talent than get top talent.

Mac trying to make sure he has as many turnovers as points on the board

Belichick for decades was always ahead of the curve on changing trends in the NFL, but he has been way behind the curve on the current trends. He refuses to adapt to the fact that you need a lot of speed and playmakers on offense, this is an offensive focused, and a lot speed on defense. No matter what players you want to blame, this team lacks talent and are not suited to play the current NFL style.
Whatever the reason, trailing 28-3… it’s time.

I watched the London game earlier today. The difference between Mac throwing to the sidelines and Lawrence is PeeWee to NFL. Whether he works on strengthening it or not in the offseason, man that dude can't throw

No one close to open on that replay.

No matter what you think about Mac Jones. Belichick has failed this team.

We’re not getting shut out. Moral victory?

In the words of Bill O'Brien himself about another QB: I've seen enough.
