Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was officially charged with murder on Wednesday.

Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was brought into North Attleboro district court on Wednesday afternoon and the charges surrounding Hernandez were revealed.

To the surprise and disappointment of most fans instead of potential obstruction charges that many had speculated, he is actually being charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd. He was also denied bail by the judge.

In addition to the murder charge there were 5 additional charges, mostly gun related violations.
