I will say that watching Miami and Buffalo, not putting any high-end playmakers on offense is a problem. The Dolphins and Bills have multiple guys, the Patriots don't even have one. You're not going to win a bunch of games expecting Mac Jones - or any other QB - to go out there and win with only Parker, Bourne, Smith-Schuster (who has lost a step and doesn't even get to the sticks), and Douglas. They're not following the formula that all the top teams have, and Belichick being stubborn there is frustrating.

Mac needs to get benched the rest of the game.
no he doesn't he needs to be out there taking his medicine, not licking his wounds on tbe bench while the rest of his team plays. sometimes you bench the qb. not in this situation.

Belichick looks old and outclassed. Been saying for 2 yrs, his time has come and gone. His philosophy is antiquated and isn't fooling anyone. Chess v chequers my ass. Retire already old man.

We obviously don’t agree on many things, but it is quite clear that Belichick has lost his fast ball and refuses to adapt to today’s NFL.

So Beli is going to sink with Mac nice.

Look at the bright side fellas, the way things have gone so far we’re on pace to draft high in the next draft. Good thing we have great GM who knows how to draft…
When Belichick drafts in the top half, he's been money: Mayo, Seymour, Warren, Gonzalez. Even around 20 with Wilfork, Hightower and Chandler Jones. It's the later 1st round picks that turn into busts.

How about running a little slower there Rhamondre

Not liking what i'm seeing from Mac.Scrambling on way just to throw the other way (even Brady used to get picked up doing that crap), not sensing that cowboy dude when he was running. There is a lot to clean up.

It's obvious the team lacks playmakers but if you plugged in an athletic quarterback who can stress a defense this current offensive personnel would look a lot better than it does right now.

I'm done with Mac. It's over. Play Zappe, get an idea of if he has any future, and then draft a QB this offseason.

Mac continues to repeat mistakes, shows a lack of poise, plays anxious, makes poor decisions, turns the ball over, has ****ty mechanics, is jittery in the pocket, has a lackluster arm. He's simply not a good quarterback, point blank.

I feel vindicated because I strongly believed that his ****ty play last season was (in large part) the result of traits completely independent of the play-caller or OC. And with Patricia gone and Judge no longer coaching the offense, we continue to see those exact same traits rearing their ugly head. Mac may not be the only problem but he's a very big part of it. He's a poor quarterback.

And Mac is not a NFL QB.

I've wanted to stay positive. I've tried to stay even-keeled. Having an overall sub-par OL and receiving corps was the big problem, right? And the line was coming together.

But in a matter of minutes I have looked up the Fire Mac club, and have a membership brochure in my email. not ready to fill it out ... yet.

No attempt to protect the ball on the strip - just hung it out there like he was Shady McCoy. Then to throw cross-field not once, but TWICE. And two other weak passes that should have been intercepted.

3-28 ... maybe some magic? An omen, a sign? Hell, I'd even listen to that numerologist nutjob - where is he?

Rham looks like he’s in cement

What a friggin catch by henry

I question whether Bill really thinks 3-4 skill players at $25 mil is = or > 1 at $25 mil. Just not how it works in the 2023 NFL.

Two of the Pats’ top pass catchers are Miami’s cast offs. That says a lot.

You're talking a lot about the coaching staff today and we all know why.

Is Henry the only O guy with a decent year?

I love Henry. I hope he gets a good QB soon
