There were signs in the preseason that the d was vulnerable up the middle, up front. It's the sort of deficiency for which one can to a degree compensate. We'll see if that happens. Philly will continue to challenge with the up-the-middle run plays and play action off that unless and until NE makes the necessary changes, either in scheme or in personnel.
