Game Day Thread 2023 Week 1 OFFICIAL Game Thread: Patriots vs Eagles

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Nance is so bad now that he gave the Eagles offense credit all the way down the field, and he gave the Eagle defense credit for stopping the Eagle offense. Really on top of his game

Not ideal, but they held them to a field goal. Hopefully the offense can get things going on this opening drive and give the defense some time on the sidelines to regroup.

Someone in here earlier said the Patriots are "getting worked", lol. The ball was around the half field mark at the time...

3 is no big deal.

Eagles LT being 1 1/2 yards off of the LOS the majority of that drive was infuriating.
They saw KC do it and get away with it so figured they'd do it too. Refs need to call it or all teams will do it.

Jakobi with the TD for the Raiders

Thanks Philly for botching that line call. Worse I've seen in quite a while.

I hope this OL looks at least serviceable

I wasn’t really watching where he was lined up, but if there is a TE or WR next to him lined up on the line I am pretty sure it is legal.

Maybe Wise was thinking LOS is only a suggestion too.

this is kind of not allowed? asking bcs seems all "the good NFL pushem teams" like chiefs do the same like on every snap

Who caught that kickoff?

First play of the season is going to be a run.
