Seems like he is reading the defense well pre-snap but is largely making a decision on what he is going to do pre-snap as well. He is not appearing to go through his progressions very well post-snap. Have seen many times that he just throws it to who he wants even when they're not that open or not really the wisest choice to throw to, or even who you'd think should be the "hot" read on a given play - he just decided he wanted to go there pre-snap.
I'm honestly surprised he isn't targeted more. He is okay facing the ball but he has NEVER shown the ability to make a play on the ball if his back is to the qb. Zero risk of an interception on go routes without safety help.
