Especially considering the flags being held are for hits that could cause serious injuries for others. "Can't flag Buffalo for hurting people because Buffalo had someone get hurt, they're allowed to hurt others."

There's no flag or penalty for attempted infractions. If I tried to dive at Allen's knees and missed him entirely, it wouldn't be a penalty.
