Lawrence, in one his pre-draft interviews, said football is not everything for him and would be ok not playing. I have a hard time imagining an NFL QB can be elite with such an attitude. Talent alone does not cut it.

He also never impressed me in the little I have watched him.

And yet this last week we had a writeup by someone in the Belichick thread about the ways that Pederson evaluates the things his players do well and puts them in optimal positions.

3 INTs in one qtr. It's either the player's fault or the coach's fault, or maybe both. 4th and 8 and you go for it and your QB doesn't realize they have 7 DBs back there. I understand you might not trust your kicker to make a 51 yarder BUT draw a play up that isn't a guy doing a curl at the sticks, because that's where they'll be sitting.
