Could be a bad local weekend for sports if the Sox crater and the Pats get rolled on Sunday night...

It's humiliating, getting swept by the yanks. And the pats putting on a clown show. They should have worn huge red clown shoes and big round clown noses. That would go perfect with their uniforms.

I thought for sure since they were playing well they would finish strong and go into the playoff hot. I'm not very optimistic they will go very far if they make the playoffs.

You'd think Eovaldi bounces back after the disaster the other night. If the Sox can't beat this guy like a drum then yikes.

People like to hate on JD, but OPSs of 900 don't grow on trees. That's a good bat to have in the lineup

After 4 world series already this century, my biggest priority each year is just getting further than the Yankees. The rest is gravy

Interesting that the final Sunday games for Red Sox, Mariners and Jays all start at 3PM Est. So after 2 nights of late night scoreboard watching the Angels play at Seattle everything on Sunday is head to head. All MLB games start at 3pm so it makes for lot of switches by the MLB Network.

Crazy how they’re struggling. I wonder if a problem with this team is that they don’t have a real leader, big bats in the lineup, Bogaerts, Martinez, Devers is so young, they’re so quiet and reserved, there isn’t really a firey guy to kick butt now and then

I can breathe again, nothing comes easily lately. Chris Sale seemed to be a fiery leader last week but your right they're quiet guys. Sox were excited to add Schwarber's personality to the clubhouse so maybe he carries the team on his back the next couple of days.

I don't know the story behind why he left. But I agree with you. I enjoyed listening to him.

Joe Castiglione is great but this Will Flemming guy sounds like a fake priest or something.

DC pro sports fans are absurdly nice. It is almost creepy.
University of Maryland fans balance it out, however.

Well, worst case, this Red Sox team that people didn’t expect anything from will play 162 with every game in contention. Crazy final weekend
