2021 Mock Drafts

LOL I'm sorry I can't take this website's draft AI seriously. The PFN auto-draft has the Pats picking THREE Runningbacks when that's our lowest priority need. 1st round, 4th round, and 6th round picks all used on runningbacks. OOF!!

That is indeed strange...I've never used the auto-draft function - I figure that's what I'm there for, to do the Pats drafting myself - so their algorithm must not take into account a player's position as much as it does his overall ranking...

Here's my latest mock. Used the PFF simulator this time around. Their interface is nice, but their trade calculator is way off. I did a draft where I traded next years 2nd and 3rd for Miami's #3 pick!

Traded #15 to Jacksonville for #25 #33 #45 (Again, their trade machine is off a bit here I think?)
#25 - Mac Jones. We pick up some additional capital and still get to take a stab at a QB. Don't think Jones lasts until #25 though.

Round 2
#33 - Zaven Collins
#45 - Pat Freiermuth
#46 - Daviyon Dixon

Round 3
#96 - Rashad Weaver
#103 - Amon-Ra St. Brown

Those are a couple of nice trades...Sometimes for me at least it's like pulling teeth trying to get the other teams to accept the trade proposals I'm making...must be my breath...

Hubbard is the assumed James White replacement as he rides off in FA. I was hesitant on Freiermuth, but all the top QBs were already off the board with the exception of Trask, who went at 22.

I love the picks, especially the first 6...I also love the first 2 trades; the last 3 are very unlikely unfortunately...

1st, 5th, and 6th round picks in 2022 left as a matter of fact. And you always end up with a couple of additonal comp picks due to player movement.

Mid round draft picks in 2022 won't matter as long as Justin Fields and Devonta Smith pan out in 2021. We also restocked depth at other key positions like LB, OL, , DL, and CB. Face it 2021 is a pivotal draft year.

If BB whiffs on this draft, we are screwed for years to come.

This team right now is talent STARVED on offense. Let's hope he can draft half as well as I did because he has done pretty poorly at stocking the GROCERIES for the past 5+ years.

For this one I proposed no trades but it's not that serious. I'd like to see who someone picks though.

I jumped at the chance to mock Smith to Minne. Just think it's funny they could rob us of Jefferson and Smith lol. Fault is ours though if we're getting beat out by 1 spot.

Anyway yea maybe we can keep no trades for this one. And so one with realistic trades after we finish?

1000 % Agree....When i watched last years draft and the Vikings selected JJ I remember Bill saying sth like They just picked Jefferson...that made me think if they would have picked someone else that we would have selected JJ
