Well said. I was trying to get really pumped up for hockey, but I’d prefer any Pats regular season game over G7 of the Stanley Cup finals. Wish the Bruins had won but watching the Sharks (in the semis) and then Bruins, I am reminded at how awesome, complex, and strategic NFL football is.

The Blues were simply the best team in the playoffs. Boston couldn’t handle St Louis 5 on 5 and needed power plays to win games. That's not going to get you a Cup. In game 7, the refs ALWAYS swallow their whistles and that heavily favored St Louis. And I was right about Rask not being capable of winning a Cup.

All I heard from Bruins fans on the HF boards were that the Bruins were going to win in 4-5 games and that St Louis did not deserve to be there. Baloney. And even when St Louis won games 2, 4-5, the Bruins fans were saying the refs helped them and were giving little credit to St Louis for being a good team.
