I always tell my wife that the popularity of the phrase took off (in a screaming fashion) once Brady started using it. She laughs and tells me that I’m delusional, but you see it now in so many different sports settings. In my opinion, that only really started in the past 5-6 years, and has been popularized due to the constant exposure received in so many conference championships and Super Bowls.
