Taking a deeper look at this, it seems a few of those were a bit unfair.
Against Seattle, they trailed 17-3 at the half and had a huge 3rd quarter to go up 7. They would lose by 2 on the road in Seattle when they were good, but they also got screwed a bit on an obvious PI call against Julio not getting called. Home-field advantage, no excuses. Then again, we would blow our own 4th quarter lead against the Seahawks too so I'm a bit more forgiving of this one than most.
The Chiefs loss seems really unfair. They were down 27-16 going into the 4th, then made a frantic comeback to tie it up. They scored 2 TDs in the 4th quarter to take a 1-point lead, then gave up a 2-point interception return by Berry trying to stretch the lead to 3. If anything, this was a big 4th-quarter comeback against a playoff team, with one bad conversion.
I know at some point it all adds up, but this team was 4-4 in one-possession games. They won some, they lost some. They played in a lot of close games. But I don't consider them chokers. They were a good team, not a great team, and they lost to a better team once we got our **** together.
