WR Andre Johnson on what future team he prefers to play for: "Wherever I go, I hope I can play with a great quarterback. I don't know. I'm just going to wait and see what happens. A lot of these teams want young players; so we'll just see what happens. I am open to visiting teams."

sounds like he wants to play with tom brady.

He's played well when he started, but he's also only started 7 games in 5 seasons in the league. They've also added Odrick at $7m per and are the frontrunners for Julius Thomas. So yeah they're splurging, at least Odrick and Thomas are good players though.

If they get Odrick at $7 million a year, they got a steal since I expected him to get closer to $9-10 because of the insanity of the market.

Julius Thomas, to me, seems no better or worse than Larry Donnell. Just a tall dude who happened to play with Peyton for 2 years. He'll be a decent TE on another team but if the Jaguars expect him to be a star, they're still the same old Jags.

At least Odrick is a good player.......

He certainly gets the Peyton bump, but I think he's definitely a little better than that. I suspect a lot of Manning's success with the Broncos was as much about his weapons - the Thomases specifically, though Demaryius is the more important one - as it was about Manning himself. He still can't block at all, though, and that team has a bunch of promising young wide receivers.

I don't have a burning desire to sign Andre Johnson, but I really don't want him to go to one of our competitors (Broncos or Colts).

I really want AJ but only for cheap. He isn't a spring chicken anymore and has a history with hamstring issues. Would be a positive veteran presence and can open many things up for Edelman and Amendola.

Tampa is taking Winston, that pick won't be for sale. And while I would normally say the price is too steep for the Eagles to get up to two they have a proven young quality starter in Foles to trade to Tennessee and that evens the playing field because no one in their right mind would take Geno. Besides, the Patriots will be picking with the jets pick.

Hy, that gives me an idea. The Patriots could get a boatload from the Eagles so they can pick Marriota. That would be awesome, two first, two seconds, two third and another first next year.

Wow, Woody is really going to wish he kept his pie hole shut.
You're such a terribe troll, Ivan, and seems as if other posters here agree with me... on ignore you go

Down year for FA WRs, the Chiefs are going to cut Bowe, the rest of the Chiefs WR corps is absolute garbage, and Reid knows Maclin can thrive in his system..

It's a good move for the Chiefs. They'll probably look for another FA WR who can be serviceable, and I'd look for them to draft a WR early, as well.

Just to update this a bit:

There are reports that Bowe is now willing to take a paycut/restructure, so he may not be as 'gone' as earlier reports claimed he was.

Interesting times

We're starting to see good options at WR/TE. Of course, Belichick could simply choose to pay DA $4M for his 2015 services. DA salary is $4M this year and $5M next year. I trust that patriot staff has contacted the agents of a few of the available free agent wide receivers. At very least, this will give Belichick more information to give DA when Belichick gives him his ultimatum.

So apparently we're interested in Roy Helu. Thoughts?
