Yea, I just want to again ask people to keep all discussion in this thread, and not the selection thread. Thank you.

oops sorry about that. I thought I was posting in the discussion thread :bricks:

I can't wait for this pick any one going ot guess at it i'm guessing Houston Or Meachem

The NYJets are looking forward to the Patriots pick. :singing:

Aaron Ross is another possibility here.

well the pick was Marshawn Lynch. I don't see BB/Pioli picking back to back 1st round RBs.

Thats a good pick Mavfan he could help the team for sure.

If he falls to 24 I could see it happening easily, and I've actually been hoping he does fall to 24. A backfield of Maroney and Lynch would be downright sick! Lynch has some simular running ability to Maroney, but I think he runs up the middle a little better, and Lynch has really good receiving skills. He lines up at WR and can run deep passing routes. I witnessed him snagging a few deep passes, and a few long TD grabs during his time at Cal, so he'd be a weapon in NE's offense for sure.

And that was going to be the Jets pick...so now I have to choose between...

Blalock
Meachem
Bowe
Ross
MacAuley
Houston
Griffin

Well with the likes of Carriker, Willis and Revis gone, and no trades possible, you have to select a talent like Lynch and Meachem. They'll find uses for them.

I just went BPA...I hope the majority like the pick...I know we have much bigger holes in the secondary and linebacker but no one would have provided the value we need...plus with two great running back time control will be in our favor, therefore getting rest for, and helping the defense. I felt Lynch would have the most impact on the team overall, and he provides a safety blanket in case Maroney is worse than originally thought.

Straight out of the Box_O_Rocks mismatch theory playbook! Well done and Thank You for reading Brain Fever Publications! :rocker:

Now Lynch has gone anyone got any thoughts on the next best RB available?

Leonard?

Yea, picking Lynch at 24 was a very good selection.

In addition to...Tony Hunt, Antonio Pittman, Brandon Jackson, or a flyer on the rehabbing Mr. Bush

I certainly can't fault the pick. The best players left on the board were offensive skill guys, what can you do? Lynch does make the team better.

And I would love to know what what was going through that cat's head when the melon skin was put on it.

Any cat worth its salt would have killed the person planting the melon and would have then tortured the photographer over a number of years. Can people PLEASE stop making good draft choices? Thanks!

Interesting Dwayne Bowe over Meachem, Houston and Spencer...

I probably would have selected Houston, but they need a WR, as well. I believe Cotchery is an RFA, and Coles while still good is getting up there.
