2006 Patriots vs 2019 Patriots... which one will wind up out-performing the other?

Went back to look at 2006, as I was thinking this team might be somewhat similar to 2019's (strong defense, less strong offense)... a few things popped out at me. I was impressed by the rushing totals. Both Corey and Lawrence had around 800 yards, plus Faulk and Evans shipped in. And you had both Graham and Watson at TE. The WR's were weak, but the defense was 2nd in points allowed. (offense #7 in scoring)

Fans pick on the 06 team for the crappy WRs, as a 4 seed playing Wild Card Weekend and allowing 32 2nd 1/2 points vs Indy to blow the AFCCG. BB squeezed every last drop out of that team. They certainly weren't perfect but that team had major guts.

Just need to watch the AFC Div in SD. Thats all you need to know.

With that said the 2019 team is better on D and O.

Very unlikely. 2003 and 2004 are undoubtedly better so what is your argument for placing 2006 over 2001, 2007, 2014 and 2019?
