2006 all over again? or is a big singing coming?

seeing the Pats let bradys favorite target leave for basically peanuts...reminds me back to 2006 where we basically forfeited a Superbowl because the Pats were too cheap to resign Branch and gave brady a bunch of scrubs. I mean you paid Chad Ochocino 6million$ for 15 cathces, but the same amount of $$ for 100+ is too much?

right now, our only receiver is Brandon Lloyd...and matthew slater.

if you expect to replace Welkers 100+ catches and 1000+ yards, is a Greg Jennings singing coming?

if the pats go out and sign Jennings and Reed I think most of my fears would be relayed...but its day 2 of free agency and the pats havent been linked to anyone

and just let their most productive receiver go for 6million$....if its the pats moving in a different philosophy and wanting another outside guy and get greg jennings? Great! but if its the Krafts being cheap and playing unessecary hardball with one of their free agents and sticking with "quantity over quality"...I give two thumbs down.

If I recall in 2006 they didn't have two guys like Gronk & Hernandez or as good of a running game as Dillon was on the decline.

Also as of right now Lloyd is still on the roster

I don't even think it is close to 2006. We have Hernandez, Gronk and Lloyd on the roster. We sign Amendola and look for another wide receiver. Looks like BB wants to spend some $$ on the defense.
