IDK if there has been an official announcement yet but I think it is fair to assume September 7th is the opening game. So in honor of Tim Bradley or whatever his name is the count down begins at his draft number.

We play the Falcons this year, another SB repeat for opening day perhaps?

It should be the falcons no doubt. Idk why our schedule's not ranked as being tough. I feel it's a tough schedule.

Because the Patriots aren't playing the Patriots. That literally is the reason. Our AFC East foes all have top-10 ranked toughest schedules despite their playing the same schedule as the Pats except the two AFC North and South games, where they face two worst opponents than the Patriots do. But they have a tough strength of schedule because each of them have two games against a 14-2 team that the Patriots don't have.

The Falcons will not be a tough out on that night. They will melt and the Pats don't lose in that spot.

The Pats schedule is plenty hard. Not our fault we can't play ourselves.

The Pats have to play every good team in the AFC minus the Ravens and Titans. Also the NFCS will be no slouch. Carolina will bounce back some I think and the Saints are never easy. Bucs are a young up and coming team. No free games there.

People will always complain about the Pats schedule unless we play every top team in the NFL every year which isn't possible. People complain about the schedule cause it is relative. No schedule will ever seem hard enough.

Very possible. However I look at some play makers they have on D and think they will stick around.

The Falcons are one of the favorites to be in the SB again although I doubt they will make it, anyways, I think the NFL will give them a hand and take this automatic L out of their schedule, this game in mid season is a different thing, on the opener, it's a sure thing they will lose and start 0-1. Or maybe the league doesn't want these chokers in the SB again and will be happy with them starting with the wrong foot.

When do they announce the dates?

Super Bowl losers always have trouble getting back, often just to the playoffs and the Falcons lost both coordinators......It will be tough for them next year plus the psychological scars of the meltdown.. Put them in Foxboro on opening night when they reveal the championship banner.....
All you need is some background music playing......

Yeah, I'm terrible......
Pats arent losing if they open vs Atl.

Yeah i know the odds but they arent just losers....you are forgetting that they are the greatest, most spectacular losers of all time.

This thread title sounds like an Atlanta drive after they got in to field goal range..?
