One week in.... Is Boutte better off in Houston or should he have stayed here?

I know it's only week one, but would Boutte have a better chance now with Maye/Patriots or Stroud/Texans?

Both team and player should have been patient, and seen how the season progressed. One week can change everything.

I always thought his best long term opportunity would have come by sticking here in a situation he knew.

By week 5 Boutte will become frustrated.. CJ Stroud in my opinion isn't the long term solution in Houston. I'd argue Davis mills may be better..

But it's irrelevant what he does down there. What did he do here? 70% target success rate at 17 ypc.

Deion Branch sucked in Seattle.

I like boutte but just don’t see him having great success without another qb who throws a ball like drake does. Not known for great separation.

Woulda been nice for him to have another year with Drake but once we acquired doubs and brown that killed that.

He got some separation today on a big 4th quarter throw, but then again the Buffalo secondary leaves a lot to be desired.
