Not sure how much conversation there will be in a college football game thread.
Hopefully some of our draft gurus can chime in.

Early season is mostly mammoth mismatches (Miami was able to cover the 55½ spread against Florida A&M Thursday, winning 77-7), but at least on Saturday night the schools networks gifted us one great game, Ohio State at Texas.

Looks like Boston College may get their first win.
I should hope that the Eagles can beat a team that lost to UMass.

Early Afternoon Games:
Arizona State at #10 Texas A&M (-14½)
#11 Oklahoma (-4½) at unranked Michigan
#6 Oregon (-23½) at Oklahoma State
Wake Forest (-3) at Purdue
South Florida at Army (-3½)

Late Afternoon Games:
#12 Alabama (-10) at Kentucky
Mississippi State (-1) at Minnesota
Arizona at BYU (-7½)
Central Florida at Pitt (-7)

Saturday Night:
#1 Ohio State at #4 Texas (-1½)
Texas Tech (-25½) at Oregon State
Iowa State at Iowa (-14)
#18 Tennessee (-11½) at Georgia Tech
Arkansas at Utah (-12½)

Thanks.
I don't watch most College because of that Nonsense.
Then teams get to the high end of the playoffs because they've padded their records with a bunch of chumps .

BC High probably would have given them a close match to this.

Going to be a long season if BC can’t. I really hope they recover this season and get back to respectability.

That QB for Kansas just had the most horrifying and stupid pass that worked out brilliantly in the history of football.

I'm guessing NIL is big now... I'd prefer the Doug Flutie days.... yawn
Like AI, can't escape it.
It is. I can’t even talk intelligently about current BC football let alone the rest of the NCAA though. I just hope the hometown team does well.

As we all do, even though I don't watch very often, I still want my hometown team to WIN!
I Rarely watch College since my dad died (BC AND ND), But I do read stuff still.

BC did get the V.

I never really was in to college much but the NCAA video game hooked me in my college years. I actually always rooted against ND until a decent amount of relatives went there. I’m sorry about your dad.

Thanks, he was a Homer to the EXTREME, and he loved BC and ND(100% Irish hehehe).

Of course. I’m the same. Loved them as a kid, hated them for most of my life, and fairly recently have relented due to family members attending.

Miami had their 5th stringers in in the 4th quarter. That's what a good team is supposed to do (Unlike say Michigan or Florida State or Rutgers).

If you get a chance (and why would you), Dereon Coleman came in and played in the 4th quarter, was able to get some passes off. He legitimately has the fastest release I've ever seen. He's a true freshman (he's not even 18 yet), and could probably stand to put on 25 lbs of muscle, but I've seen a ton of tape on him, his release is crazy. If he avoids injury, he's going to be a problem at the next level.

I get Ohio State is ranked number 1 (rankings this early are kinda whatever anyway), but Ryan Day is giving the blueprint to the rest of the country - and any old team can do it.

Stack the box, make Arch Manning beat you.

Narrator: Manning did beat them.

Yeah, those were some sick handoffs.

I applaud Ryan Day for the ability to choke away a game against Steve Sarkesian. Neither of these two teams are top-5 worthy, but that will shake out eventually.

Well, I hate the Mannings, but I hate Ohio State more. Good game.

There is a college watch thread under Patriots Draft Talk , but maybe members are not aware.

It is populated very well bye the draft guru's and one or two others.
