Another Vrabel guy and a solid addition given the depth situation but all of this could have been prevented by just going to Tonga earlier last year, there was reports they were 400k apart mid season then the price went up at the end of the season.

Run-stuffing 0 tech NT are relatively easy to acquire. And it was obvious to some like Captain Stone that this needed to be done.

He looks to replace Khyris Tonga. He is a good player. Concerns are his age and durability, but might be a great pick up in a rotational role. Strong against the run. Has been pretty good against the pass in recent years.

At a surface level, yes.

[At a deeper level: veterans who are cut are eligible for "termination pay". If they are on a roster for Week 1, they are eligible for the remainder of their entire salary, regardless of when they are cut. They are entitled to lesser amounts if they are signed after Week 1. They can only claim it once in their career if they get more than 6 weeks' pay; if they get less than that, they can claim it twice. ]

I am an advocate of playing DT's in a rotation to keep them fresh and healthy
If Milt and Barmore can play 40% of the snaps, and Durden and Jones can play in that 30% range, allows Farmer and Williams to grow in situational spots.

Fine but not sure why we didn’t sign Tonga and lock up the position for a few years with a younger player who was immediately a good fit at a reasonable price?
