I think last night showed we can add this to the positions that need upgrading in a year... Edge, LB, OL depth and now RB. Glad Rham's fumbling problem has stopped but this offense looks way under what it could be if we don't have a true RB1. Rham isn't it and he's not young anymore.

Henderson is a TBD but I'm not sure he's a 1 either that can take a full load. Wonder how high Hardy will be picked in the draft. Anyone else that could be an upgrade?

Rhamondre is a stiff who generally averages around two yards per carry. Henderson runs with his eyes closed and can't block. Speed doesn't matter if you don't know where to run. The RB room needs a compete rebuild.

Still think its hard to draw too many conclusions from that game. But this is a make or break year for rham. If he runs like last night im thinking hes shown the door next year. Hopefully he turns it around like last year

One game, first game of the year against one of the best defensive fronts in football.

Josh needs to be better, call smarter plays, players need to prepare and execute better.

It will be good to get Henderson’s speed back out there to counterpunch Rhamondre’s power. This was one game, a lot of room for improvement.

Rhamondre has almost turned into a much better passing down player than a runner, watching him run the football 2 yards a pop for what he's being paid is brutal.

Pretty much all of his best plays now come from the passing game.

Rham has a popped tire, he looks on the verge of being washed. Upgrade needed.

I've been saying this for 1.5 years. It's always been the case. He's not a good inside runner, nor is he the "big back" everyone thinks he his. However, I will say that the OL is the worst run-blocking OL I've ever seen - including last year. Wilson is not stout enough at C, and Onwenu should be stronger at 350lbs. We're just bad all around right now.

I’ve been calling it for a few years now that Rham is trash. I can’t stand that guy. He is so slow that you can’t do much with him. He’s soft for his size. Zero power. He makes their offense extremely limited. Those toss plays where he struggles so badly to run outside look like 2005-2006 Corey Dillon.

they drafted Henderson partly because he was an outstanding blocker. The room doesnt need a complete rebuild, but could use another quality back

Kiner might be an upgrade at this point.

The OL is doing none of the RBs any favors.

Hi reputation coming out of college was as a good blocker, but NO ONE has seen the slightest evidence of this alleged skill in the NFL. Given his rep, it's baffling, but it's a stone cold fact. He can't block.

Adding Gilliam was suppose to give the PATS run game new life.

IDK - OL or not, he has no acceleration left. He looks like an old bellcow with no burst left.

Give credit to Derrick Henry for going as long as he has.

Maye was the best rusher all night @ 6.7 yac.

Rahm had 2.8 yac and Kiner 1.8 yac.

He literally has a career 4.4 YPC, last season being at 4.6. He has also caught the ball well when called upon for that and is solid in pass blocking. Is he elite? No, but he has been a plus RB for us. His contract has him at 15th on AAV for RBs, about right. Your failure to appreciate his skillset and refusal to acknowledge the extremely poor run blocking from the OL in recent years does not make you any less wrong about Stevenson today than you have been the last few years.

You're not far off - although we've seen Stevenson have some big games and at 6 foot 230 he's a bigger back that we need to play well.

He's a pretty good pass catcher - as is Henderson and we're already seeing that Larison can catch balls too, but he, like Henderson is on the smaller side. So we've got 3 pass catching RBs which is great, but they all have their shortcomings.

Last night looked like a preseason game so let's hope they get it in gear.

I don't know why they stuck with Rham so much. At least let Larison get a few reps to see if he could slip through some of those cracks. He's at least much shiftier and quicker than Rham.
