I believe that guy will be Jacas... remember he missed alot of time.. seems he's gotten his sea legs underneath him.. guys got a relentless motor his pressures will come of brute strength and pursuit.. Durden, Williams and Barmore will collapse the interior. Another thing of note I actually feel like we should put Marcus on JSN shadow with a safety and put gonzo on shaheed. Make Darnold see ghosts again!!!!Applying pressure on Darnold will certainly help!
We know we can apply pressure from the interior, need at least one of our Edge guys to step up.

I dont think the Pats win this one, gonzo or not, but they just seem to have some of the same problems from the SB, other than AJ.
Couldn't have said it any better! Now add in AJ, Doubs, a bruising FB, a more experienced team a hungry defense that wants vengeance....What problems do you mean?
The biggest problem in the SB was the health and quality of the Oline, and the health of Maye.
Campbell is healthy. Wilson is healthy and back to his natural position. AVT is a huge upgrade at LG. Maye is healthy.
The D was fine for long stretches of the game before they finally wore out.
Darnold was 50%, 19/38 for 202 yds, the passing game was completely held in check.
They held the ball for almost 7 more mins than we did.
Our O struggled to possess the ball long enough to let the D rest.
They finally wore down and started giving up chunks in the run game.
All our problems came from the Oline being terrible, which gave Maye no time, which didn't open up rushing lanes, which didn't let us possess the ball, which wore the D out.
I do not agree we have the same problems as the SB.
One of the best moves of the offseason
Agreed. I’m also excited to see how JMD incorporates Gilliam into the passing game. At least, he better..Loved the signing. Aside from Brown it was my favorite.
Normally give a pass for first game of the year. Rust, continuity, familiarity etc. This year for some reason seems very important that we show well. Winning would be great but even a close game speaks volumes of where they are after the defeat in February.
If you have a number of returners, you don’t have a returner.I like depth and versatility.
And a little friendly competition between the guys.
