I don't see how it's not forced. Because of how Russini has belittled her husband through the years and then her having a 6 year affair on him. I think it's a show. And meant to make a statement. But he's willing to do it and it's his decision. But I do think this could control potential damage for Vrabel as @XLIX said

They say there's a little bit of true feelings in every joke.... it is a very, very strange schtick for a football "insider" with a non-famous husband.

I still believe this is a family matter. Even if they had an open marriage (which I doubt). I would think you would want to keep those affairs secretly if you have children. Now that this is blown out of proportion with today’s Peyton Place Enviroment. Jen and Mike have to be extremely uncomfortable having to face their kids.

100% correct! Family matter.. as I mentioned to the @TheRainMaker.. the MEDIA Will continue to exploit it.. Vrabel needs to be talking to his agent and his personal attorney to send out a cease and desist to any tabloid media that uses his likeness without his consent. That goes for all media sources that do this outside of basic team reporting in wich they are allowed to do. Look at 2 weeks ago ball dropped able Sean Peyton sending her texts messages.. the Kids are older so I'm most certainly sure Mike being the man he is had a heart to heart with them. He's not a guy that's going to BS or be fraudulent. That's not Mike Vrabel. We've known him to be this way since he was a player.

why do we assume Vrabel and Russini are/were "a thing", when we continue to hear that Russini did this frequently with numerous other people in the sport. (maybe Vrabel did too, who knows).
was this an "affair" or did they have some hook ups when their schedules crossed paths?
if both of the married partners appear to not care, accept the arrangements, and haven't commented, why do we care?
actually, I don't.

the only part I find remotely interesting, is why Vrabel? some of these pictures date back 5+ years, meaning someone has been sitting on them for quite a while. surely there are other pictures, most probably with other people involved. why the smear job on Vrabel, and by whom?
