I mean, I called it in January prior to that draft. I said whoever took this guy would regret it big time. I watched him closely in college.

Whoever evaluates these guys needs to really really look himself in the mirror. Said the same about Caeden Wallace, who I saw play 40 games in college. Our OL drafting has been underwhelming, to put it mildly.

I am not a draftguru like some of the people on this board. I watch closely though, and I know this is Dunning-Krueger effect, but I'd be lying if I didn't say otherwise: I think I'd be better at drafting WRs an OL than whoever the Patriots have charged with doing it the last several years.

By the way, Polk was taken only 4 picks after Harry was.

Yet we still have fans that will defend the latter pick, while excoriating the guy who made the first.

Can't blame him. Word is that he was being asked to do crazy **** just to keep his job. Things like running, making sharp cuts, jumping, and even catching passes. He never signed up for that ****.

I liked what I saw of him in college, although I’m sure you watched him way more than I did. I was very surprised he did almost nothing here.

Well, all I can say is that what I saw bore out. My take was he was slow out of his breaks, got no acceleration, and that I'd seen him get run down from behind when he had 5 yards on the nearest defender.

And the best thing he did in college (went up strong and came down with contested balls) he lost the ability to do in the pros. Probably for lack of confidence because he was blanketed everywhere he went.

UW went 4 deep at WR and he was the 3rd guy, so he was always against the weaker DBs.
