a potential Cincinnati vs Buffalo matchup should be held at a neutral site as well. Cincy could have gotten the 2 seed had they beaten Buffalo.
There's one scenario (which won't happen) where CIN vs KAN could happen at a neutral site. If they opted CIN vs BUF into a neutral site then that would open the door for one of those two playing back-to-back neutral site games. That would be ridiculous.

BS! Anyone that has played sports in their lifetime either tracked their stats or knew someone that was tracking their stats. This is especially true once you're a professional athlete as this is your leverage for your next contract.

Haven't seen one of your 4 page Pats silver lining write ups in weeks.

Wonder why.
Oh, that's an easy question to answer. There is no need to hear any of my opinions however long when it comes to talking about THIS football team. The site is now polluted with nothing more that ideologues who clear no longer root FOR the team, but exist solely to run it down. There is ZERO interest in anything positive. Saying something positive will only bring on a wrath of negative responses and ringing put downs about being a "fanboy". Sadly it is hardly worth my time to respond

THIS is a thread where we SHOULD be discussing whether the best strategy to slow the game down, which seems the likeliest plan, or, If I had may way, would be to alternate our strategy to use our hurry up offense to limit the Bill personnel changes and slow down their rush. We can still run the ball doing this. I believe this is an all or nothing game where the OTHER team has a LOT going for it. Let's do the unexpected, we have nothing less to lose.

Clearly even another win will bring down even MORE of the negativism that pervades this site. We no longer discuss strategy. We only discuss who sucks more, the players or the coaches and I'm tired of it

Still I love the team. I love the game. So I occasionally stop by to check in, usually on a thread that isn't directly talking about the Pats, like the Hamlin thread.

THAT"s why. T. Happy?

Bills PbP guy suffered a stroke. Hope he gets better soon. Tough week for Buffalo...

Unless the Bills don't care about the 2 seed and would be willing to take either the 2nd or the 3rd seed they will need to win this game to ensure the 2 seed.* They can secure the 2 seed with a loss and a Bengals loss but the tie-breaker comes down to common opponents Bills are 9-1 and the Bengals are 8-2 in common games. Both games this weekend are common games.

I put the asterik there because the next tie breaking procedure is Strength of Victory and I can't find that anywhere and I am too lazy to do all that math. So it is possible in theory that they could lose and win the tie breaker on SOV.

The Pats, if they want to make the playoffs, will need to somehow win this game. I just can't see that happening unless the Bills sit their starters.

If there's a neutral site game, the Falcons should get to host it. Why? Because they're the only NFL team to only have 7 home games this year.

If the Bills are up by say 3 scores entering the 4th quarter I can see them start to sit their players. As ideal as it would be to knock a division rival out McDermott probably doesn't want this game to be their Super Bowl either....the next one could easily be a letdown and that happens a lot.

People are talking like this will be the biggest blowout in history. That's doubtful.

I don't think it will be a repeat of the playoffs. But I definitely could see another 24-10 loss.

Maybe all the talk of the Buffs just showing up and obliterating us means that we could flip the script...

Or maybe, what's statistically most likely will happen.

I guess I'll watch and find out

I don't buy the "emotional tsunami" argument, that will exhaust itself quickly.

If BUF loses, and CIN wins, both finishing at 12-4, then CIN has the upper hand with regard to SOV. This weekend's results still effect SOV though.
