Funny. NY Sportswriter Frank Isola said on ESPN's Around the Horn on Friday said that AB would wind up on the Patriots.

You know when you have to deal with these "tampering" issues there is a simple way to make your point. You just point out in WHAT world would a player purposely run away to another team in order to make $20MM in fewer guarantees. Because those are the facts, at least the facts that Rosenhaus told Adam Schecter. I'm thinking reality will prove even less money will be guaranteed when its revealed.

So "tampering" makes no sense. The guy just lost at LEAST $20MM dollars in this move.

Didn't the Steelers turn down an offer from the Pats for AB and then took an inferior offer from the Raiders?

The Raiders paid draft picks to get AB then released him before AB took his first regular season snap.

The Patriots swooped in and signed AB without giving up draft picks.

Congratulations, Steelers. Y'all played yourselves.

And I only feel pity for the Raiders.

How does that disprove that? He still got a pretty good deal considering but did lose quite a bit of money. I think he had to have some idea the Patriots were interested if he got outta there.

Doesn’t mean Belichick orchestrated something though. I think somebody definitely told Rosenhaus something.
