Demarius Thomas cut or PUP’ed? I’m thinking the latter. He’s got previous experience in a JMcD offense and can utilize his size as a RZ target. He’s probably worth keeping around and bringing back around Halloween-time.

No risk in keeping him on PUP. His contract is written in a way where there is not much downside let him recover there. Curran has been hinting since OTAs that the plan with him will most probably be to start out on PUP and then hit the ground running midseason.

Then again, I could also see BB just letting him go to allow him the opportunity to latch on with someone else. Thus far, we haven’t really heard a word about his injury status, or how well he’s progressing, etc.

There are videos of him playing catch during the in-stadium practice last week. Step by step. No point at all rushing things.

Not only that but for the first time in 10 years the team has very average TEs
Referring to the TEs of the NEP as very average is an insult to any very average TE room throughout the league.

I would think that Watson, Kendricks and LeCosse are better than the TE's of half the league; of course, not half of the contending teams.

What a bargain two years and if they want they can sit Cam Meredith this entire year. You have to think that Gordon is probably on the Books for this year only with that RFA Tender. Can't see the Patriots throwing a lot of guaranteed $$$$$ at Gordon going forward knowing his history. That said the young pups including Berrios will be given every opportunity so lets not put him on the PS just yet.

Meredith
Thomas
Gordon

Hopefully one pans out.

i thought he played well when he was with the Bears until the injury. He was a little thin but seemed to be a good WR in that short time. cant hurt to take a look at him...if not now, maybe BB calls him later in the year when we have someone go down.

And this would be Meredith's Second year removed from that gruesome injury things are pointing upwards.
