Something i noticed but may be completely off base. Brady has really revved up the social media but particularly when it comes to Patriots fans. I really think since the whole deflategate thing he feels he was treated unfairly by a lot of people and fans of other teams so in the past 2.5 years i really noticed him reaching out more to the Pats fan base that defended him the full way through.

It is not like he didn't reach out to Patriot fans before but clearly the last 2 years it has been more often and when not advertising almost all his social media has been aimed at Pats fans and kind of ignored other fans.

Just felt it was worth mentioning to see if other people noticed it/felt the same way?

I guess we could speculate to his motivation for doing it, but I think you've connected most of the dots here.

If you want to establish and preserve a brand, you've got to put it out there and anchor it with consistency, otherwise the media and others will take the ball and run with it in whichever direction they please.

It seems as though he replies to more comments also. On both Instagram and Facebook.

Whether that is actually him or not remains to be seen but at least someone is actually paying attention to the context of the conversations in the comments and then replying to them with equally funny quips.

Really good point. Loved what he said after the SB too while on the podium, to paraphrase, "Thanks to the fans and the city of Boston, you've been with us all year." I think he really appreciates the support from the Pat's fans these last 2 years during the Deflategate ********.

Remember when haters used to say, after Spygate, Pats haven't won since Spygate. Well, they've won twice since Deflategate, what are haters gonna say now ? Because Tom Brady doesn't forgive and forget. He just destroys, and then smiles afterwards.
