It's been days I want to create this thread and always forget.

Between training camp worries on Edelman's broken foot and Ninkovich torn triceps, to Mitchell arm injury on pre season, to managing Bennet's ankle situation, to the great physical shape these players showed during the season and at the biggest stage, all those professionals that work behind the scene needs to be recognized as well. They are a big part of it.

All the situations couldn't have been managed any better. Not a long time ago we had Dr. Butcher ruining careers and now we are out-gassing a team full of young players like Atlanta.

We've heard stories from the Pats working hard running up hills in Foxborough the week before they went to Houston, to Phil Simms saying he was surprised how much he saw the coaches running them in Houston. Maybe Bill is now a slave driver like some of the well known ones from the past like Lombardi, Bear Bryant and **** Vermeil. Actually, stories came out about players of those coaches complaining about being driven to death, but I haven't seen posted or heard a peep out of Pats players about being driven too hard. Conditioning and medical staff need props too, as you say.

Yep, this team worked their asses off and the training and medical staff did a great job.

Fantastic point. Everyone does their job, and after an 18th game in which we outlasted the Falcons to death, the training staff do deserve recognition.

On the Patriots, you don't train in order to play just 16 games -- EVER.

Football question: Who exerts more physical toll/effort on 99 plays - the offense running them or the defense defensing them?

According to the SI guy, the Pats looked like they could play two more quarters and Atlanta was exhausted.

Wow, forgot entirely about Edelman's foot. Remember people were freaking out and worrying he would never be the same.

Props indeed to the S&C, training & med staffs. Whatever they were doing, I hope they continue to do it, especially on the OL, where the same 5 played wire-to-wire, or at least it seemed as if they did. Because had anything happened to them, especially to the Tackles, and most especially to Solder, then we would've been in
big trouble.

It's always more exhausting to react than it is to act. Playing defense is harder. Not just in football but in basketball too.

They did play all 99 snaps, according to Football Reference. That would be Cannon, Andrews, Mason, Solder and Thuney, and, of course, Brady.

OMG. Next we need a thread thanking the tireless work of the office administrators and their assistants.

If you don't understand the importance of this team being as healthy as it was down the stretch, then there is no use explaining it to you.
