I don’t know why, logically it should not be the case, but I’ll be more pissed if the Pats lose this game than if they were to advance to the superbowl and lose the big one. I just can’t phantom the thought of losing to these douchebags, and seeing the media ball washing HGH to no end. They don’t deserve to be #1, heck may not even deserve to be in the playoffs. Should have lost last week damn it! It’s just too much for me to bear. Please please please please win this game! I’m somewhat ok with losing in the superbowl, but please don’t lose this one.
Winning requires lot of tthings go your way. Pats have had similar luck in the past so the deserve part has nothing to do with it. For all their issues with the offense and QB and all, they have made it this far so they deserve to be here. I think its a toss up, I dont see how vegas made us favorites on the road. HFA is a big deal in these games.

Two things:
Perception that New England is the better team.
A lot of money wagered from New England.

Best part about a possible win in Denver is no fabricated BS.

We can't "jam the signal on their headsets", we can't "pipe in crowd noise", we can't "deflate the footballs with our part-time home game ball boy"....etc, pathetic loser excuse, etc.

Nope, we just came into your house and punched you in the mouth.

Yep. In the last 20 CCGs road team is 6-14.

I do worry about the Leagues undoubted happiness of having Peyton Manning sign off in what is almost certainly his final year with a ring.

dont
i dont think they can persuade Panthers (Cardinals) not to show up on Feb 7th ...

I just took a nap after work and had a dream about the Pats game.

Manning threw an interception. Then LaFell catches a slant, laterals to Edelman who runs for a TD. Pats lead 28-3 at the half.

Then I woke up...f*%#

I think they've got a good game plan and all the pieces to make it work. On paper this should definitely be a win for the Pats. But that assumes that we execute it, that we don't drop the ball, and don't turn it over.

ST mishaps, turnovers, crucial injuries are the only things that may result in a loss. That's key. If we can avoid that we win. But anything can happen. I actually think this game will be a bit closer than people think. A 7-10 point Pats victory of things go well.
It's simple. Patriots play solid mistake-free football, they win. It doesn't matter how well Denver plays, if the Pats don't make mistakes, they win.
If Manning is more motivated than he has ever been in his life, which very well may be, it doesn't change the fact that physically he is not that good now. If he plays his very best all that happens is the game gets more interesting.
But, on the other hand, if Brady is more motivated than he has ever been in his life, and after what goodell tried to do to him I'm betting he is, then HE has the physique to make the difference if the Broncos come to play.
Pats are healthy, and if they don't get hurt sunday they win by 13. At least.

Patriots will need to be very sharp on offense to win this game. I go back to the first matchup and can't get over how odd our approach was. We were forced to the boundary to get mismatches with rb and chandler on backers. Not this time, the mismatches will be available inside the numbers. That's the big difference, less holding the ball and back to rythim offense. No one was getting open in that first matchup.

Defensively, you have to watch out for the one or two chunk plays. If grandpa can hit a couple of those then we are in for a dog fight. Unlike the narrative, he can hit those plays. Shut down the run game and the short bubble type throws early on. Make him play from behind and it's over. But if he gets a couple chunk throws completed and we turn the ball over. This is anyone's game!

I'll tell you what, if we do lose I am going to be sooooo mad at the people who wanted to go to Denver in the first place. Logically I know they are literally 0 impact on what happened but I'm going to throw them under the bus anyway.

rise and shine

everything is in pats hands. that should be a good feeling.
they just need to show up, show energy, save some for the 4th, stay cool and really only do their job.
nothing fancy, just the usual sunday treatment

LaFell catching a slant is a dead giveaway that you're dreaming

For anyone who wants to read - I didnt because i dont want to spoil my mood listening to blandino

So Blandino argues that Manning didn't give himself up because there was no defender coming after Manning. Other than the defender who almost sacked him?!?

Vector, just be glad we are even playing this game. Who knows what would happen if we were number 1seed and played pitt. Maybe brown isn't knocked out and Ben doesn't hurt his shoulder and somehow they beat us at home. A lot of ifs, but what we are sure of is that we have at least one more game to play.

I am hoping its pats vs panthers in the superbowl
