A player's sexuality has nothing to do with the game on the field. If someone is saying it to egg you on, you should ignore it. It shouldn't matter. That's the problem with today's world. We've developed a society of mentally weak people.

I hadn't seen that cheap shot to Butler's face by Beckham with the top of his helmet. That dirty hit was cheap and gutless. Some day someone is going to take Beckham out and he won't get any sympathy from me.

During my time as an athlete I was actually against sh!t talking, but that was a much different time. I always thought that talk like that served no purpose and if anything could fire up an opponent. But that was a long time ago and things have changed dramatically.

The commissioner has an easy way to solve all this (instead of the way he did, which will probably turn into 0 games).

Beckham should be suspended 2 games and fined 100k because the nfl supposedly takes concussions seriously and also takes crap behavior seriously.

The Refs should be told in the future Beckham should've been tossed in the first quarter, and should be poorly graded for the game. (of course in reality the refs were probably afraid to toss the players because they didn't want Roger to come down on them)

Carolina should be told bringing bats is not allowed and will result in suspensions again. And Threatening motions will result in penalties. Carolina shouldn't be allowed to do what it did, but that should also in no way be an excuse for Beckham's behavior.

Both teams should be fined 500k each for allowing their players to act like spoiled children, and acting like spoiled children themselves in the post-game excuses
