Yea but at least there’s **** to do in those places before, during, and after said convention. You can network at after hours venues in NOLA and Vegas….not Borelando. Ever since they made places/bars/clubs shut down by 2am, it’s gone to ****.

Agreed but they've also done it in August in New Orleans and Vegas. Cheap bastards.

Have done both cities in August recently. Organizer bragged about cheaper hotel rooms, yeah because else was BBQed to death or was smart enough to stay away....Dry heat my a**, like sticking your head in the oven.

Used to go to Tampa for work a fair bit. It’s been a while though.

Cigar City makes some really good beers. A place called the Boozy Pig makes some really good food, including a Cubano worth trying.

I was being driven around by locals so I got no idea about locations and such.

I think I will probably end up at the game. Live in Clearwater but work in Tampa. If you’re looking for a great steak and fantastic wine while you’re here, might I suggest Bern’s for dinner.

I’m thinking about taking my daughters to the game down there. Quick flight from me and easier to get to than Foxboro. I’d love to take them up there but the logistics are kinda a pain in the ass.

Really glad to hear it worked out for you. People aren’t just stupid during natural disasters here, oh no. We have full 24/7 365 idiocy. I’d like to eventually get out of here and do NH for a bit. It would be total opposites of everything I would hope.
