whatever any one thinks, Ron Howard is a great director. I am going to watch it .
Opie has had a great career.

I never watched Man in the Arena and I probably won't watch this one.

Between Tom vs. Time, Man in the arena, A football life, America's game x 6, the Brady 6, Three games to glory and a hundred other shows, it's hard to believe that they'll find anything new to show us at this point. But I'll tune in and watch Mo Lewis, tuck rule, 28-3, Malcolm go, etc., all over again.

(Apple does have some good programming - Severance is great)
I was kind of on the fence about whether or not to see Severance. Not any more.

Growing up in Chicopee, with its big Uniroyal plant, I got my new Keds every May, at the factory store. Thankfully, they didn't cost $100.
They were also well-made.
I grew up near a Converse factory store and went in that direction.

- After we won in week 18 @ Carolina in 2001 (the 9/11 postponed game)...on the team's charter flight back to Boston...the team learned that the Jets delivered us a BYE by beating the Raiders. And immediately, Kraft placed a call to HALT the demolition of Foxboro Stadium.
I was at that Carolina game with my non-sports fan son who I talked into going on his way to Atlanta. It started as a drizzly day with hardly any Panther fans but thousands of Pats fans. We were all between the 30's on the Pats side and started to chant J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS when we saw that they were beating the Raiders for us. After the game we all converged in the concession area and celebrated for as long and as loud as we could. The workers there didn't know what to make of us. I'll never forget that time.

As usual, any attention to the team prior to his ownership will focus on derision and poor decisions. Yes, his predecessors had some serious issues.

He waves his flying elvis flag. He spent the money. He's entitled to do whatever he wants.

Thanks for buying the stadium lease, buying the team, working with Roger to keep it here, and hiring Belichick. Thanks.
And thanks to **** Rehbein for helping to convince Bill to draft Brady.

Pat Sullivan was horrible. Bean-counting buffoon
His worst case of buffoonery was going after Matt Millen at the end of a heated game. He was lucky to survive that stupidity.

apple tv ...

hmmm... Ive heard rumor such a streaming service exists... never seen it though... nor do i know anybody who uses it
I absolute love Apple TV. Ted Lasso is worth every Penny. Quite a few great shows on there.

Sorry Ken….. I was a PF Flyers kid…. Lol

Me too. I remember the commercial where a kid put them on and jumped over a chain-link fence. Another sneaker brand popular back then was Red Ball Jets. Then I got older and Adidas was all the rage. I even had a pair of Adidas football cleats in ninth grade.

Ah Keds, my first sneaker.....and EVERY kid's first sneaker, at least in my neighborhood growing up.
Until the Nike swoop arrived.
When I lived in NYC back in the day, the young yuppie males (me included) wore their Air Jordan high tops out at night thinking they were so "street' while the young woman had on their retro Keds thinking they were so fashionable. What lemmings we are.
