This kid was savage all game on defense, haven't followed Clemson but he seems to be pretty good, don't think he is a first rounder, but I think we should look at him. Plays with tons of energy and heart.

Totally agree- I don't think he could cover a back on a route so he wouldn't likely be a 3 down linebacker but short of that- he would be worth a shot. The Renfrow kid is a Patriot prototype receiver but probably doesn't have speed or size to make it

Yep, my thoughts, he might be a good run stuffer but a bit weak against the pass.

But yeah I like the Renfrow kid, he is solid, it all depends on his toughness and ability to run routes, he can do those and stays disciplined then I think NE scouts will be looking at him.

not high on boulware. There's better linebackers who are bigger and more athletic. beckwith and Cunningham come to mind. I don't see boulware making an impact at the pro level

Non-existent in the first half and was getting pushed around, but was solid in the second half. He's projected in the mid-late rounds, but can find plenty of other options to better fit the coverage linebacker niche. If he fell to the 6th or 7th, maybe worth a shot though when thinking other purposes.

I see a lot of good linebackers. I love reeves maybin, just not sure he fits our system.

Boulware is smart and fiery, but a bit short/small and not overly fast. I imagine will be drafted, but not high. Critical player for Clemson though. But he is not Luke Kuechley.

exactly. Smart, tough special teamer.
The white WR du jour in this draft is Ryan Switzer.

Switzer is def worth a look. Tons of confidence and attitude.

There's many other wrs, white and black that help too.

He bounced off the 2nd string Alabama running back late in the game. Good instincts, plays smart, somewhat limited athletically. Alabama's Reuben Foster has the same traits, in a much more NFL-ready body.

The Patriots need LB help, but it needs to be a coverage backer, first and foremost, IMO.

I think he's smart but I don't think he's 1st string NFL material. He would be great for depth if he could excel in special teams.
