What gives!? I know it's a Monday night with work and all but dam. Al least it give people like me a chance to go to the game

Look no further than the reaction of a large portion of the fan base after the loss to the Giants, or even the week before after the loss at Pittsburgh. It's not as if all those tickets were just put up for sale in the last 14 hours.

Money. If you're spending $2.5k to $3k per year or more for a pair of season tickets, the chance to make back a couple of hundred bucks by selling a game or two isn't crazy. The two most obvious games that are candidates for selling tickets are the Monday game the Christmas Eve game (which has over 2,000 tickets for sale).

The Patriots are pretty high up there in terms of Sunday and Monday night games in the last few years, so it's not a new experience for many of the STHs. Add in the fact that it may be the most difficult stadium to get in and out of, and there's your answer.

Remember, with more than 50k season ticket holders, even if 98 percent don't put any game on ticketexchange, that's still 1,000 tickets.

I think you will find for any fan base/team the most movement of tickets are for MNF and other games not being played on Sunday afternoon.

I know Lions fans who go to one game per year -- Thanksgiving and I know others who buy season tickets and the is the one game per year they miss.

Plenty of people sell their MNF games cause they can't afford to miss work and there are others who only buy MNF games cause they can't get away on Sundays.

isn't there a RULE where if the perswon/party that you give/sell the ticket to (You are essentially responsible for any ills committed and you could LOSE your season tickets) is that true?

what the hell is this thread supposed to be...a referendum on the quality of Patriots fans??

what garbage...who gives a rat's azz

I would have thought that most season ticket holders would want to sell games early in the season, when the weather is good for golfing.
