As of now the starting LT seems like it will be Okorafor, Anderson or Wheatley.
Andrews at center, Sow at RG and Onwenu at RT seem locked in imo. Strange will be the starter at LG unless he lands on IR to start the year in which case Leverett should be the starter there.
This team still needs...
30 mm would be a conservative estimate. They have 51 in space now the draft picks should cost about $8 mm to sign. That would mean they spend about $13 more on free agents/traded players.
I don’t have the confidence the front office will even shell out that much.
Did Wolf give the front office the rest of the week off after day two of free agency?
It would be nice to see even a small signing to let us know the lights are still on in the front office.
I thought Donovan Peoples-Jones would have immediately been the best X receiver on the team, he just...
I don’t agree that McCarthy has a better arm than Maye.
You can’t really use JJ winning against higher completion without mentioning he had much better teammates, better coaching and was asked to do much less.
McCarthy is more nfl ready if he comes to a team that is as run heavy as Michigan...
The title of this thread is kind of funny based on the point being made.
Not long after Pitino left the Celtics started a streak of consistent winning that is continuing even now. Looking back on that quote the lesson learned should be for fans to remain vocal until problematic coaches and...
I think drafting a player that is recovering from injury on an incentive laden deal makes sense for LT and X receiver positions.
I wouldn’t mind Humphries and Mike Williams (although free agency this far has taught me not expect any signing I would like)
can you explain what makes that group “right tackle only” players? I always thought right tackle only players were big and strong but lack the quickness and mobility to deal with the fastest pass rushers.
I see Guyton as a left tackle in the league because he is extremely quick and mobile. To...
it’s day five of free agency and I am now routing for them to go a different direction at GM. I believe Wolf’s contract is up after the draft.
I wanted the team to start fresh at gm as soon as Belichick left. Then I was excited to give Wolf a shot but now that they have pretty much whiffed on...
If multiple teams are willing to give up assets to move up to 3 to draft a qb then we should keep the pick.
If those teams identified the third qb as a franchise guy I trust those opinions more than I trust our own scouts. I would be wary of thinking our FO is smarter than others to the point...
Mike Williams seems like the only free agent receivers left worth targeting.
If the Pats can’t solve LT in free agency it seems like their plan is to rely on the draft to solve the most important positions LT, WR and Qb.
At least the Pats have used their league leading cap space to improve...
Another receiver the Pats had interest in but in the end we’re outbid. Whether it is draft capital or contract money the front office is continually coming up short.
I really was hoping Wolf was going to spend heavy because Kraft wanted to beat the cheap rap.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Kraft fired Wolf after the draft to put all the blame on him. Seems to be pretty foolish for a personnel guy on a shortly expiring contract to try and play the long game like...
Would love to see Gilmore and Simmons return to the Boston area.
In terms of tackle Smith is really the only LT left that is start caliber imo. If they don’t get him I think they need to go LT in the second round of the draft. I’d much prefer they get Tyron Smith then double dip at Wr on day...
