    1st round WRs?

    Slightly different angle... what WRS would you take in the first round? assuming pick stays at 32

    Fallers = Value?

    Time to get technical with wording, I am looking at people who may slide (different than fall). Not someone who is falling because of any red flags but more of a "What if?", example what if player X is available at 32. I don't think this guy will fall to 32 and it is not a top position of need...

    Bob's big board and draft grades 2019

    My money is on Saquan Hampton, S, Rutgers followed by someone else I haven't heard of...

    B.G.C. 2019 NFL Draft/Patriot-Type Players Thread

    No idea what thread to post this but I am so confused!!! Even though the NFL is predominantly an offensive league I am still stuck in 2002 and want to focus on defense especially since this is a very strong year for the defensive line. But it is also a strong year for WR and TE. Honestly I...

    Fallers = Value?

    The big boards are littered with "fallers" which may equate to value with some risk. Personally I like round 1 picks to be clean (both in health and character) but will entertain other risks further down in the draft as long as they have a strong work ethic / character. Chances are if someone...

    Solution at TE

    Gronk may never be replaced but as far as a veteran with zero pass catching potential and some run blocking ability what do people think about Jermaine Gresham? Think Dwayne Allen but at veteran minimum not $5 M per year. Jermaine Gresham Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com

    Unpopular Opinions

    Pats don't draft a TE until round 3.

    The year of the Double Dip

    I like the flexibility the Patriots have and the way the boards are stacking up. With pick 32 they can take a quality DT who has fallen, maybe make a move for Rosen or trade back a few picks for additional capital. In rounds 2-3 they have a lot of options at WR and some hope for an adequate TE...

    The year of the Double Dip

    I would still like defense to dominate: DT, TE, BPA, WR, WR, BPA, BPA

    Name One Prospect That Would Transform The Team

    Sorry to be a party pooper but now single pick will really matter but if they can hit a few doubles this year and next year their cap position will be much improved. Maybe one starter this year with 3-4 quality backups would be nice.

    Pass Rushers

    To me Rivers is just like a 1,000 other players who were likely the best player at their high school and among the top in the state and then were stars in college but that is not enough. It is damn hard to make it to the NFL and raw physical characteristics at this level are within a narrow...

    Favorite Day 2 Receivers?

    Who could resist the term "Ultra Sleeper"? From cbs sports, includes a pretty good summary of the WR class. Ultra Sleeper 35. Ashton Dulin, Malone I'll throw Dulin here for now, the Division II superstar invited to the combine after scorching opponents down the field and in jump-ball...

    Favorite Day 2 Receivers?

    I am not so sure about that, he appears to be more of a "looks good in shorts" type of player. Soft and less than the sum of his parts. I like him at the top of the 3rd because even with those deficiencies he could at least draw coverage and make plays on the outside.

    Favorite Day 2 Receivers?

    With 5 picks in rounds 2 & 3 would expect at least one WR maybe 2. Also looking at some draft boards there are a lot of options. I will definitely flip flop 100 times before now and the draft but I am thinking of two molds: Smaller faster guy - capable of handling slot duties, jet sweeps, WR...

    Hogan?

    Queue your inner Hogan's Hero (late 1960s television comedy) Hogan! Hogan! Thoughts on bringing him back? Can't think there is much of a market. This would allow the Patriots to return with pretty much the full Superbowl set of WRs. Pros - knows system - should be relatively low cost Cons -...

    Solution at WR

    There looks to me a lot of value in the draft at WR where the Patriot have 5 picks. If someone they really like is there in round 1 maybe they make the pick otherwise I could see them taking too WRs in the middle rounds to compete against the veteran scrubs... baring some sort of mid season...

    DT

    Time to pick up some deals, potential free agent DTs Suh - Could be a force on a one year deal, likely will want too much money Muhammad Wilkerson- coming off an injury, could be a low cost option with upside Darius Philon - younger, journeyman type, rumors are Pats have interest Any other...

    Gost is back: Two-year deal

    I know kickers are not considered premium free agents but I am quite surprised no one has taken a run at Ghost. There are a lot of shaky kickers in the NFL and as we have seen it could be the difference between a playoff spot and early golf season. Has anyone heard anything?

    Talking Team Needs 2019

    As we predicted they will use free agency to have enough live bodies at every position to field a team and look towards free agency to add competition (man do they need it). Steve Belichick would be an upgrade at WR. Sticking with my call, double dip at WR and DT.

    How important is Brady's career TD record to you?

    Also most Superbowls by any eva!! It would be nice if he at least passes Manning, I know that makes me a small human being but I have been called worse.
