Greatest Plays of the Patriots Dynasty

So many to chose from, we tend to remember the playoffs for impact. From the early days I think of: - Troy Brown punt return against Steelers - Harrison pick 6 against Steelers ( go back and watch Vrabel is on top of Big Ben sticking his junk right in his face) - Brown TD in overtime against...

    WRs in lieu of TEs?

Definitely the biggest set of WRs the Patriots have ever had, if anything McDaniels is a chameleon, should be interesting to see what he dials up. In addition to losing a premier receiving TE they lose two above average blocking TEs (Gronk and Allen). I expect: heavy run orientation the TEs to...

    2019 Patriots PPG Predictions

It must have been too hot of a take... hopefully NKH can stay healthy.

    2019 Patriots PPG Predictions

Taking a SWAG at PPG and rankings for 2019 Patriots. Offense - takes a dip, ends up around 25 PPG, top 10 - speaks to Brady, Scar and McDaniels as this group is a significant step down at skill positions Defense 20 PPG - top 6 - deeper unit but trend is towards offensive production, all...

    2018 Defense vs 2019 Defense

Hard to ignore the way Flores had them playing at the end of last year. The super bowl performance was an all time historic effort.

Where Will We Sign Or Trade For Players

Still a lot of inured, old, washed up, has been, never been, JAG, roster fodder available. Free Agency Update: 2019 NFL Free Agent Tracker - Fantasy Columns TE - Maybe trade for Rudolph or look at Gresham, Gates, Watson DE - Ray, Perry, Ansah DL - Suh, Bailey, Luiget Pick your gem...

    2019 Annual PatsFans Draft Contest

For a moment the Pats had pick 133 & 134 and the top 3 available were all on my list! Then they trade a pick and take a QB... gigantic wiff by me... The Patriots draft is a cruel mistress.

Patriots scouts apparently like Duke QB Daniel Jones.

He looks pretty good and hits most of the check marks but I am just not sure he will have the same level of success as Tom Brady.

    2019 Annual PatsFans Draft Contest

I hate myself, and thank you. Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama Mecole Hardman, WR, Georgia Gary Jennings, WR, West Virginia Isaac Nauta, TE, Georgia Jace Sternberger, TE, Texas A&M Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State Jaylon Ferguson, DE, Louisiana...

The pick is in! Love that sound!

I love everything about the draft, even the sound effect. All the preparation, all the analysis, all the hopes and dreams are alive in the moment between when the pick is in and when Goodell steps up and says: "The 32nd pick has been traded" <-- Why did I stay up all night? "With the 32nd pick...

    Suh?

I have always liked Suh, even back to college where even and untrained eye could watch and say "Holy crap, who is that guy?" Yes, he is chippy and cheap. The kind of guy you love on your team and hate if he isn't (similar to Rodney Harrison). He also provides some position flexibility as a...

    Day 3 - WRs?

To recap, so far we have covered Round 1 WRs, Day 2 WRs and now we can talk day 3. This is the most I have ever studied the WR position and my takeaway is that there is plenty of talent throughout the draft. There are no top 10 type prospects but lots of depth. I would be perfectly fine if...

    Realistic availability at #32

That is where the eye of the beholder comes in... If Simmons is a 90 grade but you only get him for 4 years and Tillery is an 80 but you get him for 5 years which is a better investment? 4 * 90 = 360 5 * 80 = 400 Overly simplistic but you get the idea.

    Realistic availability at #32

Very cool, anyone who can obsess over the draft with a new angle is ok in my book. This is a total cop out but I see a lot of depth at some positions of need: - WR is strong all the way into rounds 3-4 - TE is top heavy, if Fant or Hockenson are gone consider Smith or wait until pick 64/73...

Hightower - slimmer is better or worse?

Love HT, it could be better for him as a LB but I always loved his versatility to line up as a defensive end (see sack in the Superbowl against Atlanta when he caused a fumble). The draft implications are that they will need to add another DE, I hoped they would anyway but now it is a done deal.

    Let’s Talk Kaleb Mcgary

You can never have too much talent in any positional group and if they project him as a multiyear high caliber option (ala Mankins) then I guess I would be ok but it comes down to value. I have seen him ranked anywhere from 30 to 100, seems like a waste of an asset to consider before 64.
  17. cstjohn17

    Fallers = Value?

Another player who has good tape but wasn't to complete all the testing (hurt hammy at pro day) is Nasir Adderly, Safety from Delaware. This site has him as a top 20 talent, if he is there are 56 it is worth considering. At a minimum he could help on special teams and provide depth /...

Seattle @ 21. Who Would You Trade Up For?

Although I am more of a"Win now" type thinker what if Dwayne Haskins is available at 32?
  19. cstjohn17

    Pats Sign Austin Seferian-Jenkins

I say this without sarcasm... ASJ will join the long list of off season signings who don't even make it to training camp.
