Patriots have spoken to every team about QBs

The Floyd Reese angle is something I never considered. Cant really argue against the fact those drafts kept the dynasty going

Patriots have spoken to every team about QBs

2nd round picks are awful for us, just give them the next 7-8 years worth and call it a day lol. I was thinking about it last night, if they did something like that you could actually attract the FA wideouts like Galladay and Godwin. It would never happen but COVID and the cold winter has my...

Patriots have spoken to every team about QBs

Am I only one who looks at the past 5 drafts and says to myself "I actually would consider sending 3 firsts and 3 2nds for watson" Roast me.

Fivehead trolls the Pats about Deflategate

I've come to respect Manning more and more since he has been gone. The NFL desperate to get that next Manning Brady gravy train. Tried it with Rodgers and Matt Ryan back in the day. Then Kap and Russel, Cam and Russel, Mahomes and Watson, what's going to the be the next one.

    Lobby for draft rule change

Noooooo, the NBA is a nightmare with the lottery system. I can see maybe top 3 being random but top 15? Yuck

Flashback: 2004 AFC Divisional playoff vs Colts

I miss the mid 2000s CBS production. Brings back so many memories. I remember when Peyton just couldnt beat us until that 2005 game when half the roster was on IR. Great memories

Best memories of attending a Pats game?

That game, the 49ers game in 2012, and the Wildcard game against the Jags in 2005 were my best memories. Ended up going to that Broncos game on a limb and bought tickets off stubhub that friday. When I got to the game, the gates opened and I lost/dropped my ticket. Lost my mind, ended up...

Worst Pats playoff loss in the BB/Brady era

Everytime I'm on a hot streak or having a good day I watch that play to humble me haha. I knew it was close at the time but didn't realize just HOW close it was as I blacked the game out until about 2015 after they beat the Hawks. Would have been something else if they connected.

Worst Pats playoff loss in the BB/Brady era

Now correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Rodney get hurt in week 3 against Pittsburgh? I remember either Koppen or Light went down that week as well for the season. That team was ravaged with injuries, also the season Bruschi came back from his stroke midseason.

Worst Pats playoff loss in the BB/Brady era

I picked 2006 but that Broncos game sticks with me as well. Still remember being down after that, Bradys first playoff loss. The calls that went against us and everything else. We out played them that night.

    Welcome!

Yes sir. Bucs fan Drew here for the rest of the year. Lets go Brady

    Flashback: The Mo Lewis game

I remember hearing that Weis loved Brady in camp. Based on the first 2 games in 2001, it looked like Brady would have gotten his shot regardless. Now the question is when? 5-6 games in? midway through the year? Who knows, probably would have been made too late and 2001 doesn't even happen

    Clemson tonight

Michigan man here, Fields is a stud, like him more than Lawrence. Saw him twist his knee up @michigan last season, came back 2 plays later and ran a naked bootleg and threw it across his body 35 yards for a touchdown. Kid is a stud

Today In Patriots History Today in Patriots History

Cant believe that 2005 season was 15 years ago honestly. I remember that season more than most for some reason. Went to that Jags playoff game and saw Willie have 4.5 sacks. Great experience

    Bills make us look stupid.

Agreed. Playoff Danny sacrificed alot to stay in New England. Loved him once he found his niche

    Bills make us look stupid.

Exactly, Amendola is a pats legend for what he did in big spots for the team. If I remember correctly, the Broncos were trying had to get LaFell in 2014 and the Pats were pushing hard for Sanders. The opposite happened, but Lafell made some good plays for us in his one productive season for us

Breer: How the wheels came off the Pats dynasty

The articles make very good points. The talent has decreased tremendously the past few seasons from the draft. Players like Van Noy, and other major contributors, came by trade. When's the last time Bill drafted a pro-bowler on either side of the ball? (other than Jake Bailey) It was Jamie...

2007-2008 Patriots Appreciation Thread (or does it even matter anyways?)

Speaking of 2008....I remember that 2008 as one of the most entertaining seasons as a patriots fan...never knew what Cassel we would get and their were no expectations...still think that team could have made some noise in the playoffs...Probably wouldnt have gotten past Balt or Pitt though.

Your Opinion of Best/Worst Belichick Free Agent Signings.

Even some in the recent years that were huge.... Loved what Woodhead brought to us, Brian Waters was an absolute stud on our offensive line...then obviously the dynasty peices from the early 2000s....funny I remember thinking we would go 16-0 again after picking up Haynesworth and Ocho...then...
