It’s Official… college football is over as we know it.

This…the NCAA didn’t think the whole NIL thing through and really screwed up. What you mentioned is probably the only realistic way to fix it. Make these kids sign an ironclad 3yr contract with no wiggle room to renegotiate. The boosters’ motto should be, “if we pay…you stay”.

Patriots Hall of Fame Finalists - Edelman, Mankins & Vinatieri (Vinatieri vs Edelman)

All three will make it in. If I had to rank them in order of who should go in first: 1) Vinatieri 2) Edelman 3) Mankins

    Riddick predicting Hunter to Patriots

This…I vote for a “Mediots Draft Prediction” thread to merge everything

Patriots Player Departure BREAKING: Joe Milton traded to Dallas

This…it’s really that simple until proven otherwise by Milton and the players drafted as a result of this deal. The wailing and gnashing of teeth here is good entertainment though.

Patriots Player Departure BREAKING: Joe Milton traded to Dallas

The “#199 curse” is in full effect on Patsfans. We need to find pro bowlers in the 6th rd every draft; otherwise FIRE WOLF. :poop:

Patriots Player Departure BREAKING: Joe Milton traded to Dallas

No offense but you kinda made a case against yourself here. Statistically speaking, we gave up nothing for nothing…it’s a wash. Of course reality might be completely different; we’ll just have to see how it all unfolds. One benefit I can see is that we’ve made it perfectly clear that this is...

Abdul Carter at 4#. Hunter has gone do we trade?

IMHO…If Carter is there at #4, the Pats will take him unless there’s a lucrative trade offer to move down a few spots.

    All-time Patriots WRs (choose three)

Yeah let me try to figure that out…

    All-time Patriots WRs (choose three)

I had to go back and add Wes to my original post…can’t believe I forgot him

    All-time Patriots WRs (choose three)

I agree with Morgan and Moss…these are the two obvious choices IMO. It gets a little difficult for the 3rd choice…I’m torn between Brown, Branch, Welker and Edelman. I think Branch was probably the most talented of the four but my heart goes with Troy. So for me: Stanley Morgan Randy Moss...

    All-time Patriots WRs (choose three)

So let’s have a little fun apart from all the draft talk. What three wide receivers would you choose to represent the Patriots all-time team? Here’s the list to choose from: Stanley Morgan Irving Fryar Troy Brown Terry Glenn Deion Branch Wes Welker Julian Edelman Randy Moss Other (please say...

    Four Tackles: Moses and ???

I think you said it in your post…draft status. He’s a 3rd rd draft pick from year ago who was injured for a good chunk of last season. He’s like a rookie + this year. He has talent; he just needs to stay at RT and learn/develop. It’ll be a good thing for him to sit behind a solid vet like Moses...

Can't We Be Competitive This Year?

It’s March but I already feel we’re #2 in the AFC East. Buffalo is still the team to beat but the JETES are going to be BAD and Miami is at best an average team with a JAG HC and a QB who’s a concussion with legs. I’m confident that we can compete for a wild card spot.

Can't We Be Competitive This Year?

No way they’re moving Moses to LT. Ideally the LT depth chart will be: Day 1 draft pick Love And RT depth chart: Moses Wallace
  15. P

No Hunter, No Carter, No Problem take Tyler Warren

I like Warren; but unless you’re convinced he’s gonna be the next Gronk, Gonzalez, Gates etc.; there’s no way you take him at #4. Even if the Pats trade down a few spots; I don’t think TE is a position of need that we need to fill in the 1st rd given all the other holes we have. TE is...

    Four Tackles: Moses and ???

I agree…the other possibility would be to stash the 2nd OT drafted on the PS if he’s a late round pick (6th or 7th rd). Of course there’s a risk there; but not too high for someone drafted in the later rounds.
  17. P

    77 plus A) Hunter and 21 or B) OT at 9, and new 2nd, old 2nd, a 3rd and a 4th

Putting QBs in a separate category, there are only 2 premium players projected in this draft class…Carter and Hunter. If one of them is there at #4; grab him (Option A). If neither are there at #4; then Option B is best.
  18. P

    Caedan Wallace?

Don’t mess around with Wallace’s position. He’s a RT; keep him there. Let him develop behind Moses for a year or two and if that development goes well, then we have our RT for the next 4-5yrs.
  19. P

    Four Tackles: Moses and ???

Not to oversimplify, but I think this is what our OT room will look like for the upcoming season: Moses Love Wallace Day 1 draft pick This could change if we draft more than one OT. In that case, we keep five tackles. I don’t see us cutting or trading any of the above.
