Ex-NFL RB Cierre Wood is a POS who should die 1000 fiery deaths

The argument is that the State is not qualified to determine whether one of its citizens deserves to die. Frankly, it is frightening that you can observe how people and governments operate and come to the opposition conclusion.

    Tom and Peyton

You apparently have an irrational seething hatred for somebody you don’t know and my suggestion is that said irrational, seething hatred colors your perception of that person’s football ability.

    Tom and Peyton

He must have played ok in other games because he had some major duds yet his career playoff stats are very similar to Tom’s. I’m taking Tom every time because of his superior mental makeup, but healthy Peyton was a force and BB is a force multiplier.

    Tom and Peyton

Pre-injury, Peyton was phenomenal. Who knows how much he would have won with our early 2000s defenses and BB.

    OT: Pat Bowlen’s dead.

Was going to tell you to amend the thread title to include “again”

2019 season preview magazines are out....

Great for the toilet. People that write such things do so to sell them. The product is more appealing to more people if it picks someone other than the Patriots to win.

    Mike Freeman - Gronk comeback?

Gronk is 29, competitive, and probably still the best TE in the NFL. He is also not even close to as interesting, funny, or marketable as he thinks he is off the field. When I put those two things together, I don’t see how he doesn’t come back after giving his body a rest.

A little bit dusty in here

    Edelman contract extended

I made 2 points: 1. It was a good throw 2. It was NOT the type of catch Welker routinely made. Which of those do you disagree with?

    Edelman contract extended

It was a good throw but the catch is not one Welker “has made 100 times”. He rarely left his feet to make catches, rarely had to reach over his head, rarely had to contort his body in that way. Probably, he never made a catch with all three of those elements as a Patriot. Still, as a...

Poll: Is Gronk really retired or is he coming back?

The Instagram post with him on the mountain bike talking about “all the great things” or whatever to do off the football field sealed it for me. He’s coming back. No way he’s going to be mountain biking during the playoffs

    Tyreek Hill Investigation

Any legal trouble is insignificant compared to the fact this audio likely ends his career in the NFL. The statement: “You should be terrified of me too, *****” is the nail in his coffin.

PATRIOTS NEWS Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Happy that it looks like the Jupiter PD and DA will be joining this list

OT: Junior Seau 30 for 30

I loved Junior as a player. The documentary is just sad, but not particularly illuminating or interesting. I thought teammate and fellow CTE sufferer Gary Plummer had the best take: Junior had issues independently, but they were also likely exacerbated by the CTE.

PATRIOTS NEWS Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

I haven’t been following this. How is my prediction turning out that law enforcement and the PBC DA are going to rue the day they messed with real lawyers backed by an endlessly rich and determined client?

OT: What Is Barry Switzer Trying To Tell Us?

Still picking bits of cereal off my keyboard from this one. fnordcircle strikes again.

OT: What Is Barry Switzer Trying To Tell Us?

I guess he’s trying to tell us that Ed Werder’s personal hygiene left something to be desired.

PATRIOTS NEWS Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Seems you would be happy in a police state, but only one that hasn’t criminalized strawman arguments.

PATRIOTS NEWS Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Police and prosecutors don’t exercise discretion on which laws to enforce and which violations to prosecute? That’s virtually all they do. Discretion is mandated by limited resources but also by the importance of police/community relations. You’ve never gotten a break on a speeding ticket?
