    Stefon Diggs: Contract

TB12 wasn't TB12 yet. This was the first Super Bowl.

    Stefon Diggs: Contract

He did give us a great season. We made the Super Bowl, and he was a team leader. The WR room gained confidence, and was completely different year to year, and he deserved much of the credit. There's more than just on the field statistics, which were pretty good. I want Diggs on my team, but...

    Stefon Diggs: Contract

The year after the first Super Bowl they tried to keep the team together and missed the playoffs. Bill said he always regretted that decision. It makes sense for both sides to rewrite. They can cut Diggs or trade Diggs at the end of camp, and save $20M. A rewrite can guarantee Diggs...

    Stefon Diggs: Contract

Diggs is not worth 26 million. Sorry he gave us a great season, but that's absurd. Hopefully they can work something out because he deserves it, but ridiculous to tie up that money on a player the defense does not have to plan around.

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

\ I don't think they keep Bradbury with the cap hit VS Dead cap. Maybe they rewrite the contract to be another two year deal with a cap friendly first year, but until that happens it's Wilson and Ben Brown at center.

Not A Terrible Start On Acquisitions to the 90-man Roster

Yeah we agree. I can accept that Henderson goes down a little easy, but he's got to pick up that blitz.

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

At the time they were leaning towards players who were their picks, not guys still here from two administrations ago. They mostly tried to clean house, and Strange frankly is still probably not the idea of a veteran OL they want. In retrospect Strange is one of the few you could point to as...

Not A Terrible Start On Acquisitions to the 90-man Roster

Nobody was criticizing the overall results of the season. But it's his speed that got him there. If he wants to be a complete back moving forward, he's got to shed some tackles, and pick up the blitz. Crazy that Stevenson was the better third down back. At this point of Henderson's career he...

Sorry I'm unclear how these stats prove/disprove my post.

Not A Terrible Start On Acquisitions to the 90-man Roster

My criticism of Henderson is that he seems to go down on first contact too many times. He gets there fast, but doesn't shred tackles like I would like.

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

I have zero problem with Vrabel going with the rookie he drafted over a player at the end of his rookie deal who had been nothing special for three years, and was set to be a FA. Again at the beginning of the season it wasn't just wins, but development. Perhaps Vrabel felt Maye needed a...

I heard K Williams looked pretty good chasing down the fan who ran on the field.

Henderson had less than 20 yards rushing per game in the playoffs - 2.5 average per carry Durden is not a kid, and Ponder played 25% of the snaps during the season. Woodson was the exception. He had a great year.

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

Yeah that was crazy. They had no RT so they basically ruined Sow's career by playing him at a position he had no business even trying. I don't see Wilson as the same circumstance. Ah I suppose that's a point. Wilson seemed to get worse as the season progressed. In fact most rookies on offense...

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

Wilson certainly has to still prove himself, but from day one at camp they moved him around different positions on the offensive line (and almost always with the first team), They felt enough of Wilson to play him out of position all season. So why the tough grade on his ability to pick up the...

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

Maybe Wilson wasn't ready to play center, and Vrabel thought a year playing beside a veteran would speed his development. Again they made the Super Bowl and young players developed better than any recent year in memory. It's hard to pick the results apart for me.

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

My point is that we have forgotten where we were during training camp. I think it's fair to criticize Vrabel for cutting someone like Jake Andrews who was a young player never given a chance. But to point at overplaying rookies (or cutting Cole Strange) when it appeared the idea behind the...

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

BTW they did close to a similar thing at safety, even though Hawkins was a veteran. They cut the two veterans to play two unknowns, one a rookie. Vrabel was building a team, not looking at just this year.

Will Pats cut Bradbury? [OG title mentioned a non-existent option bonus]

I didn't have a problem with anything they did. There was really no veteran to pair him with unless you thought Cole Strange for a year was helpful. Campbell did fine until he got hurt. Not perfect, but good enough. And Wilson got a year of experience.. At the start of the year if someone...
