Do the Patriots need more white, indigenous, and Asian players?

Most of us have had a chance to hear coach Mayo talk in his introductory press conference about the importance of having a black head coach on a 4-13 football team in a league of predominantly black players. Mayo and Thunder went on to discuss about the importance of racial diversity. Mayo is...

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

No, it wouldn't have. If the new coach took his first press conference as an opportunity to talk about the Ukrianian-Russian war and perogies we'd all rightfully wonder wtf that had to do with anything involving winning football games.

    We Drafting a QB

All I care about is if our new QB is black.

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

And I never said he said that being black was the most important thing about himself. I said he "acts like" it is. You must've missed the part where he went on about how big a deal it was that he was a black coach, and that he DOES see race, and his talk about racism and diversity. Do you...

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

I'm just here to talk about what's most important for a football team - race.

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

I don't think those dudes would be diverse enough for Mayo.

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

Give me a break. My point was that I previously dismissed the idea that his race mattered (as I clearly said) and then he comes out and acts like that's the most important thing about himself. I'm sure you'd be cool with a white coach talking about how important being white is?

    Mayo's Intoductory Press Conference

I was dismissive of the DEI hire allegations I heard a few times but after that, wow. Mayo may have been co-DC under Belichick but also he sounds like he was the VP of Diversity. Add that cringe "Thunder" ass kissing. What a joke.

Belichick (via Howe) also claims be didn’t want to draft Mac Jones

Hoyer would have hated that. His modus operandi was to not to play so people didn't realize how much he sucked so he could continue collecting a player's paycheck (rather than a coach's) as long as possible. He even admitted his wife wanted him "coaching" in a uniform rather than retiring for...

Belichick (via Howe) also claims be didn’t want to draft Mac Jones

To be fair, that would have been a disastrous use of draft capital and rightly criticized.

Belichick (via Howe) also claims be didn’t want to draft Mac Jones

Very true. Although, Cam was an afterthought that fell into his lap after the fact. But Cam did get Edelman his record highest receiving yards in a game (think it was Seattle or Carolina) before things fell apart.

Whoa, whoa, are these numbers being double checked @Guts? I came here to take out the Flacco bet because of weather.

Good lawyers are always honest. They're talented enough that they don't need to lie. It's the dumb ones you have to worry about. And then the judges feel sorry for their pitiful careers and do nothing.

I only won 25k with pre-season bets and I got both Raiders and Panthers correct.

Rap: Mayo is the new HC

Yeah, I can't count the number of times Bill went on record to say his coaching philosophy was built around trying to score as few points as possible and still win.

Wickersham and others drop numerous bombshells on Belichick/Brady relationship

My recollection of the Brady enquiries was that Belichick laughed at the idea.
  19. Jlaff

Mayo will be the new HC

With the way things are going, I'm sure we're going to see articles accusing Mayo of the leaks and portraying him as a traitor. Should be a great start. If true, **** Mayo I wish him nothing but failure.
