Who says he wasn’t transparent?
The fact that he is the only 2nd Round picks without a contract. Only non-QB in first 2 Rounds not signed. Why would there be a contract standoff otherwise.
The Pats owe Jacas $2.75M at signing. Since Jacas can not practice, a cheap owner might delay signing the player to put off making the $2.75M payment until such time that the player is healthy.
Somebody somewhere on the internets had an out-loud thought that it might be a possible reason. You have a problem with such well established facts?
Agree, or if he failed to disclose the extent of his medical issues and now the team/owner is pissed...
I agree. Either the guaranteed payment is being delayed or they are upset because of the extent of the injuries, like Jacas' team might not have said he was going in for a procedure.
