Of what we saw, I'd say the most impressive thing was watching Brown go full speed at the cornerback (or coach in routes on air), and then break off his route. He can get up quickly on a cornerback's toes and that has to be intimidating. It's like a locomotive coming at you, and I could see that being tough to handle — is he going deep, or breaking it off? — for a cornerback. The footwork is impressive, and he easily catches the ball either with one hand or with nice late hands on passes over his shoulder. It comes easy to him.
A.J. Brown passed his physical but...but I thought his knees were shot.
I Blame McDaniels for our SB loss no adjustments whatsoever. Sea Chicken DC owned him... Maye Day and A.J. will carry him this year. We'll win not because of McDaniels but in spite of.
The knee is a non issue, it’s pain management. He hasn’t missed any time because of the knee. The guy only has 2-3 years left. He will leave it all out on the field. His goal is to win a ring, post some stats to make the HOF. The player and team goals align.Eliot The **** said that the medical & training staff "signed-off on it"
No mention of a thorough examination, or that he was put through a battery of tests or anything; just that "they signed-off on it"
Sounds like that's all they did. IOW, don't blame us when he's a football cripple in 3 years, around the same time that the 2028 first-rounder is making the "2nd-year leap"...
I know, I was just stating that they were so full of sh*t and because they were so bad they aren’t on the air anymore. I believe the host was on the CBS sports morning show show with Boomer Esiason and left to do his own show which failed.I have no idea what it was or who it was, I'm simply talking about any talking head who comes out and says" I know what the problem is, and who is responsible, but m not going to say it........" or variations of that.
The Eagles can use that pick to move up in next years 2027 draft.
The draft that is supposed to be incredible.
I love how the same four people are talking about the 'loaded' 2027 draft, like they've ever seen a college football game, because someone they saw on the TV said so.So the Eagles are going to be able to get a team to give them their first round pick in " incredible draft" for their late first round pick in the draft that won't be " incredible? " As usual that makes no sense at all.
Nobody knows how strong the draft class will be, and generally they base all that in advance by counting the QB's they think will come out. We don't need a QB.I love how the same four people are talking about the 'loaded' 2027 draft, like they've ever seen a college football game, because someone they saw on the TV said so.
Will it be better than this year's draft? Yes. Is it the 2011 draft? No. Skill position-wise, it will probably end up about average. There are some fantastic linemen, specifically offensive linemen, who will indeed strengthen the class overall, imo.
No, they're wrong because they can't see the flaws and limitations with their own QB.Again, not wrong.
No, they're wrong because they can't see the flaws and limitations with their own QB.
There's plenty of tweets showing Hurts playing like dogcrap... look I can do it too.
It'a a case of Drake Maye and Jalen Hurts being polar opposites as passers.
Drake's got touch, he can sling it 90 yards, he's not afraid to uncork one.... Brown is going to love it here.
That's Jalen Hurts, it's always been Jalen Hurts. That video. Yikes!
The Bills helped the Chiefs move up and take Mahomes. So the Eagles are going to be able to get a team to give them their first round pick in " incredible draft" for their late first round pick in the draft that won't be " incredible? " As usual that makes no sense at all.
